hold up
I think it really has taken some time for Braintree to get off the ground! Boom town it is now though. Speaking only personally and being a previous airport worker myself, I see and feel the benefits that the Stansted expansion will inevitably bring.
Even a decade ago though it was still talk that had been heard, and only now do we see actions. But have you yourself ever been in the queue for take off in a long line of jets awaiting departure whilst yet another one approaches to land on the very same and only runway. Mark my words I'm sure we'll get another!
This week it was straight down to the newly opened restaurant, and one of my favourites too- aroma. What I can't understand is, why we all have to wait, and wait, and wait at those red lights in Braintree town centre- I mean even on a Sunday (Serious leisure time folks), the darn traffic lights are left blazing away with little sign of any traffic of course. Top marks to Chelmsford on this one though- they turn the bloody things off at off peak times. I'm sure that holding up business just would not do- so why do it with our valuable leisure time?
Everyone should move here though, (I think they are too), two train stations, cinema, bowling, it's all about braintree. I must dash now to check out the town centre fireworks tonight. There really are two November 5th's in this town, the festive shopping starts tonight with a bang with a display that you can see and hear three miles away!
